Child Development Center
James Lick High School and the Child Development Program are proud to announce to the Alum Rock Community the opening of our new children’s center. The center is currently serving preschool children, ages 2 to 5. Our future plans include providing child development services to infants and toddlers as well.
The Child Development Program offers services to qualifying low income families throughout the District. Teen parents are given first priority for available services.
The James Lick Child Development Center also serves as a laboratory class in early childhood education for high school students. This class provides a unique experience for students as they support the positive development of the young children.
